about the filmmaker

Beth Cramer directed and edited the feature-length documentary Plan B, Single Women Choosing Motherhood, which premiered last year at the Tribeca Screening Room. The film weaves a serious, emotional and often funny look at what has become a growing trend among women over thirty. Cramer edits her footage as a dynamic conversation between twelve women who never meet, but share an overwhelming desire to parent.

As veteran film editor, Cramer is known for her evocative fashion/beauty spots as well as her prowess in storytelling for such clients as Wieden + Kennedy, Euro RSCG, Devito/Verdi, Grey Advertising, BBDO among others.  Cramer was exclusively represented by Red Car Editorial for over 10 years.  Cramer has worked with many top directors including Marcus Nispel, Bob Giraldi, Gerard de Theme, Leslie Dektor and cut campaigns for Fidelity, Sprint, AT&T, ESPN, Victoria's Secret, Olay, to name a few.

Beth's experience has spanned commercials, documentaries, short films and music videos.  She lives in Soho with her husband, four year old son and labrador retriever.
